A Sapling in Mid-Winter

If you hung around here lately, you must have seen that there have been a lot of stories—and not much else. Judging by the title of this post, you might think that this too is a story, and in a way it is. Just that I don't know it.

Yesterday, 30 December, someone donated 50 trees to our little forest. Who and why—I'm sure there's a story behind that, though I'll probably never know it. Whoever and wherever you are, your gesture is very appreciated.

And what better excuse for the gesture—as well as the time of year—to match this donation, you know, for good luck and robust growth in the year to come.

As mentioned, except for the regular stories, nothing much has happened around here in the past few months. That's because I've switched my focus and I've been putting all my energy into learning to code. I even had to postpone a project, Snooks, which was initially planned for the holidays, in collaboration with the good folk at RollPlayers, on Etsy. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it moving by spring.

The effort put in during these months is finally beginning to pay off. I'll soon release my first ever digital project! And I expect that in the foreseeable future, this entire website will take a more... well... digital turn.

As for the stories, I'll take a break from them too. There are more than 40 of them, and hopefully by the end of next year I'll get them to 100. Their purpose was to be integrated in at least a game I was working on, but as you well know by now, I'm taking my sweet time with this stuff.

And of course,
